What is the 304 stainless steel?

Alias: T 300 series stainless steel austenitic;

Content: Minimum 18% chromium and 8% nickel, and maximum 0.08% carbon;

Definition: Chrome-nickel austenitic alloy. Standard "18/8" stainless steel.

It is often used in household products for some characteristic reasons:

- Strong forming and welding performance, very suitable for changing appearance shape

- High corrosion/oxidation resistance due to chrominum content

- Easy to clean, easy to manufacture, good looking;

- Excellent toughness, can be used for a long time use, so you can save cost and expenditure;

- Grade 304L is a low carbon version of 304. It doesn't require post weld annealing and is therefore widely used for large format components.

In addition to the household business industy, it also operates extensively in the food industy, food processing equipment, expecially beer brewing, milk processing and brewing.
